Service Subject

• Individuals above age 15 with residence in Tainan City and equipped with a Disability Certification but settled at welfare institutions or mental medical rehabilitation institutionsnot yet.
• Evaluated by ICF social workers at the Department of Social Welfare,individual be suitable for community day-time operation facilities, and with the ability to handle daily life and transportation (can perform on one’s own independentlyor with the support of relatives);butexcluding whom at school studies in the day time.
• Being evaluated who have the ability to participate in operation activities at will for 4 hours/day, and more than 20 hours per week.

Content of Service

• Provide labor operation activities for 20 hours per weekto cultivate work attitudefor promoting living skill to learn of individual's participation in production, and assist with cultural and recreation activities, adaptive education, etc., thereby developing one’s potential and increase the social participation opportunity.
• Provide supporting services of emotion guidance, community participation, self-promotion, etc.
• Provide professional consultation and family supporting

Purpose of Service

• Provide adaptive customized services to cope with the diverse development and supporting needs of the physical and mental who are disabled.
• Through small service modelof the community to enhance the interaction and mutual assistance relationship between physical and mental who are disabled and community
• Promote independent living of physical and mental who are disabled to improve living quality and reduce the care burden and pressure upon their families.
• Develop diverse types of occupationstoenhance the operation skills of the physical and mental who are disabled.
